too be great is to be misunderstood

in the story self reliance by ralph emerson he states too be great is to be misunderstood. i truly believe this statement and if you look at all the greats its show this at some point and time they was misunderstood and now they are being praised. being labeled as a great is a high title and that title isnt for everybody because if it was easy everyone would be great. to be great you must be different you have too separate yourself from the crowd. you wont be great if everybody can do the same thing you can do then that thing wont be great it will be normal. people who are labeled as great are easily misunderstood because they see a bigger picture and the common man cant even see it yet because he’s busy worried about the little things his mind cant expand. every great is misunderstood like MLK, malcolm x, obama, the list goes on.
